Donan designed our Component Testing Lab (CTL) near Louisville, KY, with one goal in mind: to create a space custom-built for the best client experience and conclusive results in the industry. Here at the largest forensic laboratory of its kind in the nation, you’ll find specialized examination rooms, adjacent breakaway rooms, and the latest testing equipment and investigation methods. Our licensed professional engineers have everything they need to bring you accurate product failure assessments.

And to better accommodate the high volume from our West Coast clients, we’re developing our second CTL location in Henderson, NV. At these two labs, experts conduct more than 10,000 failure analysis investigations annually and growing all the time.

Experts at the CTL include professional engineers, certified fire and explosion investigators, and Crash Data Retrieval technicians. The wide range of expertise allows us to assign a well-qualified expert to any project.

The CTL has testing locations in Simpsonville, KY, and in Henderson, NV. We receive products and components from all around our nationwide footprint.

Each examination room is custom-built for a specific appliance or component and features adjacent breakaway rooms for counsel.

Our climate-controlled facilities provide 24-hour surveillance, photo documentation for quality assurance, and a single chain of custody from delivery to inspection to storage.

CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY

Our Scanning Electron Microscope and other technology enable non-destructive, in-depth inspections, while virtual capabilities support remote joint inspections.

Donan field employees are dedicated to providing clear, unbiased, and professional testimony when necessary and are provided ongoing training for expert witnesses.

LOSS LOGISTICS

Our in-house, single-chain-of-custody shipping service provides photographic quality assurance and custom packaging to protect your evidence from pickup to delivery.
