Dan Wilhelm joined Donan in 2010 and currently serves as a senior forensic engineer based out of the firm’s Component Testing Laboratory. He has 15 years of engineering experience, and has completed approximately 6000 forensic investigations. Mr. Wilhelm has worked in the following industries: controls engineering on conveyor systems and industrial machinery; and electrical engineering for residential, commercial, and industrial design. His areas of expertise are electrical failures, fire and explosions, and refrigerator and solenoid valve failures, among others.
Mr. Wilhelm is a licensed professional engineer in Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia, and a certified fire and explosion investigator. He earned his Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Louisville, and his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
