Scott Wasson joined Donan in 2009 and currently serves as a forensic engineer based out of the firm’s Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. Mr. Wasson has 24 years of engineering experience, and has completed over 1,250 forensic investigations. He has experience in the following industries: commercial and residential structural design, including single-family and multi-family, mountain lodge, hotels, mixed-use, municipal, and educational buildings. Mr. Wasson’s areas of expertise include failure analysis of snow- and ice- loaded structures and more. His project capabilities include evaluations of structural framing, foundations, retaining walls, roof cladding, siding, fire damage; water intrusion; and mold origin and cause, among others.
Mr. Wasson is a licensed professional engineer in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Vermont, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
