Robert Salyers joined Donan in 1999, and he currently serves as a forensic engineer based out of the firm’s Lexington, Kentucky office. He has 35 years of engineering experience and has completed approximately 4500 forensic investigations. Mr. Salyers has prior experience in the mining industry, as well as in government and engineering consulting. His areas of expertise are geological-related issues and blasting activity, and he completes a wide range of projects at Donan related to general structural issues, water intrusion, blasting/ground vibrations, construction defects, and impact damages, among others.
Mr. Salyers is a licensed professional engineer in Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia, and is a licensed professional geologist in Kentucky. He earned an Associate degree in Engineering Tech from Somerset Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
