Don Richard joined Donan in 1997 as a forensic engineer based out of the firm’s Evansville, Indiana office. He has 40 years of engineering experience and has completed over 3000 forensic investigations. Mr. Richard has extensive experience in construction and underground and surface coal mining. His areas of expertise are foundation failures, mine subsidence, mold cause and origin studies, plumbing, earthquakes, and hail and wind roof inspections, among others. In addition, Mr. Richard completes a wide range of projects at Donan including water intrusion, plumbing failures and duration, swimming pool issues, structural evaluation assessments, and tree and vehicle impact assessments.
Mr. Richard is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri and Nebraska. He is also a Registered Surface Mine Foreman in Kentucky. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Evansville.
