Mr. Michael Kamel joined Donan in 2017 as a forensic engineer based out of the firm’s Dallas, Texas office. He has seven years of engineering experience, and has completed over 3,500 structural designs and assessments. Mr. Kamel’s prior work was in single-and multi-family residential design including post tension and reinforced foundation design and analysis; framing design for roofs, ceilings, and walls; floor system design and load path analysis; and wind and seismic lateral design. His areas of expertise are structural design and assessment, and his other project capabilities include water intrusion, construction defects, floor covering damage, mechanical failures, plumbing failures, wind & hail damage, structural component failures and assessment, and foundation assessments, among others.
Mr. Kamel is a licensed professional engineer in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Texas. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
