Kristy Huffman joined Donan in 2012 as a forensic engineer based out of the firm’s Charleston, West Virginia office. She has 11
years of engineering experience, and has completed over 700 forensic investigations. Ms. Huffman has worked in the following
industries: bridge construction, hot-mix asphalt production, and highway construction. Her area of expertise is construction materials
including concrete, aggregates, and HMA pavements. Ms. Huffman’s additional project capabilities are mine subsidence, roof
inspections, water intrusion, impact assessments, flood studies, retaining wall failures, basement failures, and mold origin and cause,
Ms. Huffman is a licensed professional engineer in Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia. Ms. Huffman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the West Virginia University Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Marshall Graduate College.
