Jim Graf joined Donan in 2009 and currently serves as forensic engineer. Mr. Graf has 11 years of engineering experience and 15 years of experience as an electrician prior to that. He is a subject matter expert in electrical building system design and installation, electrical project cost estimating, electrical system failures, troubleshooting electrical controls for building systems and machines, and other areas. His previous experience includes work in the following industries: commercial and industrial (steel mills) electrical system design. Mr. Graf works on a variety of projects at Donan including electrical fires, electrical estimates, water damage to electrical building systems, underground wiring failures, lightning strike damage to houses and other structures, electrical motor testing, and hail and wind damage to shingles.
Mr. Graf is a licensed professional engineer in Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, and is a Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cleveland State University.
