Lee Dirkzwager joined Donan in 2014 as a forensic engineer based out of the firm’s Minneapolis, Minnesota office. He has 43 years of engineering experience, and has completed over 200 forensic investigations for Donan. Mr. Dirkzwager has worked in the following industries: oil and gas production and processing; chemical processing; metal processing; food processing; beer production; chocolate and confectionery production; grain handling; water and air pollution; dust control; biodiesel production; ethanol production; agricultural processing; soap production; and building construction. His areas of expertise are salt water processing malfunctions. Mr. Dirkzwager’s other project capabilities petroleum oil and gas components, lightning damage, mechanical and electrical control systems, fire ignition energy studies, pyrolization and exothermic chemical reaction studies and more.
Mr. Dirkzwager is a licensed professional engineer in Colorado, Minnesota and Wisconsin. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
