Paul Burtis joined Donan in 2013 as a forensic engineer based out of the firm’s Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office. He has eight years of engineering experience, and has completed nearly 800 forensic investigations. Mr. Burtis’s background includes steel, concrete, and masonry design and inspections in the bridge inspection and analysis industry. His area of expertise is structural design and failure analysis, and his additional project capabilities include blasting/construction activity, water intrusion, construction defects and code issues, roof inspections, flood studies, mold origin and cause, and earthquake damages, among others.
Mr. Burtis is a licensed professional engineer in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Louisiana, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Virginia. He is a also a certified mold inspector. Mr. Burtis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University.
