Jim Aronsohn joined Donan in 2017 as a forensic engineer based out of the firm’s Miami, Florida office. He has 18 years of engineering experience in the following industries: transportation infrastructure, including highway, railroad, and pedestrian bridges, marine ports, and airports; aircraft manufacturing facilities; pulp and paper processing/manufacturing; low- and mid-rise public buildings; and low- and mid-rise commercial buildings. His extensive engineering background spans structural design, hydraulic design, earth retention structures and more. Mr. Aronsohn’s areas of expertise are forensic engineering, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, and hydraulic engineering. His other project capabilities include wind and hail damage investigations, water intrusion, foundation settlement, and plumbing failures, among others.
Mr. Aronsohn is a licensed professional engineer in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, and Washington. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Idaho and a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Florida.
